VOETV'S Interview With James W. Walker VII, CPE Dictator of Hairtell.com
In Hollywood they say there's no business like show business however “Surfing the Net” can be so entertaining and just when you think you have seen it all you stumble upon VOETV'S interview with James W. Walker VII, CPE Podcast at the Oracle of Enlightenment. This screen gem was produced in May or June 2002 and from the get go to the very end I could not stop laughing at James Walker VII CPE viewpoint when it comes to electrolysis. His good looking announcer was clean cut and close shaven all though he wore a sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off for that machismo look. His interviewer pointed out that James Walker the VII has a real job in addition to being an actor he is an Electrolysists. Then he asked James is it pronounced Electrolysists? James also unshaven replied in his giggling school-girl laugh, “In England it would be correct because “Electrologist” means the study of electrolysis.”
Well Tallyho and hip, hip hurrah for James Walker VII, CPE, James I must say I am proud to be an American neither a Canadian nor a subject of the Queen. In America were electrolysis was invented and developed in professional occupation and Electrologist is a practitioner of Electrolysis not “Electrolysists”.
Okay let’s get back to James Walker VII, CPE bloody interview, next his announcer made a comment that the American version of Electrologist makes its sound more like Dr. Frankenstein? James chuckled at the comment of Frankenstein and replied in his dorkish way I must say Electrolysists makes more sense and the English know how to speak English, again James broke into his giggling school girl laugh, giggle, giggle ha, ha, ha. Yes that was very interesting nonetheless we have a few more items to cover as was the introduction of Lisa Rose the supposed subject who is laying on James table while James is playing with his Gynecologists lamp looking at Lisa’s skin, he said in high pitch squeal, “Lisa I have a worms eye view of your skin again breaking into his giggling school girl laugh!” Lisa says, “That’s a bright light, it hurts my eyes and James giggles again and goes oh yeah that's a Halogen bulb and James still left the hot lamp focused on her eyes.” Again no matter how many cues James announcer gave James he continued to play with his lamp like he was “ Der Kriegesmarine U-Boat Kapitan” looking up down and around through his periscope for enemy ships, I was waiting for James to say, “Los torpedoes” but that did not happen.
Nevertheless James you need to know that you do not need a "Gynecologist Lamp" to do electrolysis because it’s too hot for the skin and an experienced electrologists prefer to use a Dazor Cool-Combo light with custom fit peripheral specialized magnifiers that allows you to do a better job in addition to being much more comfortable for the patient. In my professional opinion and experience I have seen many uneducated non-licensed certified professional electrologists run out and purchase surgical loops and "Gynecologists Lamps" of this nature just to inflate their own ego and to impress their patients with non-requisite "Stars Wars Technology". These lamps and magnifiers are totally inappropriate and they slow down your work with a distorted view that does not allow the electrologists to view the entire area of the face that needs to be treated. Halogen lamps are hot, too bright and burn the skin and what counts is that you actually see the patients entire face in full peripheral view instead of a reduced periscope two-inch to four inch circle that limits and restricts the quality of work you do. Poor Lisa Rose the subject for this supposed electrolysis demonstration remarked again boy that light hurts and James remarked, “Yeah its halogen bulb.” What kind electrologist uses a painfully bright hot halogen bulb that prevents from him seeing the hair and the entire area of the patient's face and skin correctly? However our uneducated non-licensed electrologist who is insensitive continued to let the hot bright light hurt her eyes. Nonetheless if you want to learn read about lamps and magnification click here.
During this wearisome interview James Walker VII CPE our bearded electrologist hid behind his "Gynecologist's Lamp" in the right hand corner almost out of view from the camera and he never once made eye contact with the viewer while speaking. Another item that was most notable that James did not have a close up and I wonder why he hid from the camera, maybe Mr. Demille was not ready for James’s close up? When James subject Lisa Marie surprised him and asked him does electrolysis hurt? James evaded the question in its entirety with a condescending high squeaky voice and he asked how many cups of coffee do you drink? He also asked how much water do you drink a day. He also pointed how stress and other terms related to pain just to change the subject and to avoid answering Lisa Roses question. Instead of using a skin chart to show and explain to Lisa Rose that there are no nerve fibers inside the follicle shaft to the germinative base of the papillae than all you should feel is slight sensation from the electricity if your electrologist inserted the probe correctly. However James said you feel a slight prick or sting. Other items James talks about is how he prefers to do Flash Electrolysis known as Thermolysis in which boasts that he can treat up to 1,500 hairs per-hour. James please be patient and give everyone enough time to put our boots on because the poop is getting pretty deep around here. James it is impossible to correctly treat 1,500 hairs per hour without causing massive skin damage.
James espouses the narrow view point where he uses and recommends mostly short-wave which he calls "Flash Electrolysis" while educated licensed electrologists use the common sense approach that all three modes of computerized treatment Short-Wave, Galvanic and Blend should be used and tested to see which mode produces the best results for different types of hairs and skin conditions. During the entire production it was obvious James had stage fright and unprepared while completely ignoring this photo-op and opportunity to capture the viewer's attention and present a thorough professional scientific theoretical presentation of electrolysis application using a medical grade skin chart and epilator. However there was no skin chart and James drifted off the subject of comparing his electrolysis equipment to Japanese automobiles, read below. Maybe James was used car salesman before he became a “Canadian Electrolysists”?
James Walker VII CPE Japanese Automobiles Versus His Electrolysis Equipment?
Next James Walker VII, CPE leapfrogged to the next subject and says the thing the separates his practice from all other electrologists meaning women, is that most electrologists spend more money on their decorating than any other item. Furthermore James states in his opinion that the majority of electrologists use water effects, marble floors coupled with excessive decoration while they spend a total of $1200.00 dollars for their machine and a couple pair of forceps. In spite of this James continues to make absurd assumptions and statement during the interview James Walker VII, CPE did not bother to say where he got this information and came up with this figure of $1200.00 and a couple of pairs of forceps? For some strange reason James deliberately fails to mention his complete lack of having no accredited electrolysis education. In fact I noticed his walls were quite bare to say the least except for his one and only $225.00 120-hour Certified Professional Electrologist Certificate which appears to be the sum knowledge of his electrolysis academia? To lean what it takes to become a Certified Professional Electrologists click here.
James it is so wrong and unprofessional for you to belittle, assume and speak of other electrologist's offices without knowing what they have for equipment. James to assume and make rude comments that a nicely decorated office does not compare to your "Frankensteinish Dungeon" of despair bare look when it comes to decorating is rude. James you’re trying to insinuate that women who are the majority of electrologists 99 and 3/4% of us spend more time decorating and that you alone spend more money for your electrolysis equipment is a cheap insult to all state licensed and registered electrologists. James Walker, VII CPE since 1875 women have worked hard and have built electrolysis into an recognized "Professional Industry" and your claim that we do not take our chosen profession seriously has no merit and denigrates women. James in spite of this you fail to mention that you have not attended a nationally accredited electrolysis school and that you do not have a state license and registration as an electrologist to practice electrolysis. In my professional opinion your arrogance is ludicrous. The fact that you alone think you are entitled to pass over attending an accredited electrolysis school, run out and by your equipment, take a simple 120-hour fourth grade wonder course with a multiple choice exam with no practical examination is a complete hoax. James you insult women who are educated trained, test licensed and registered electrologists that spend up to two to three years for the education before we open our practice let alone purchase our equipment.
During the interview, it was most observable that James was camera shy or should I say he had a bad case of “Stage Fright” because he hid behind his gynecologist’s lamp that he uses for electrolysis treatments. Gee girls in my whole life I have never met one electrologist that uses a "Gynecologists Lamp" for electrolysis treatments? James likes to boast and he quickly pointed out that the cash value of his "Gynecologists’ Lamp" could be used for a trade in on a Honda Civic. Next item James bragged about was his foreign made “Treatment table”, which he said, “Would be a nice down payment on a brand new “Honda Camry”. From their James talked about his foreign made Epilator as his “Bread and Butter Machine” that he could use as a down payment on a used Honda Civic. James it sounds like you would be better off if you went back to selling used Japanese cars. James what is your problem how come do not use America made electrolysis equipment?
Nevertheless the most correct and sensible statement James W. Walker the VII, CPE made after mentioning his Canadian made bread and butter machine and I quote him Ver Batim, “Being the Idiot I am I did everything backward and did not have any money left for decorating”. His commenter or interviewer broke in and said I think you have a very nice hallway out there with plenty of magazines in the bathroom. James, "I’ll bet Al Bundy would give your bathroom his personal approval." Then James breaks in and said, “I will get the marble floors later.” Then again in the video you could see his antique circa 1950’S pressed imitation walnut paneling throughout his office that did not have one certificate on the wall.
James continued to struggle throughout the interview gigling at his own corny jokes and comments with his schoolgirl giggle but he never really talks about electrolysis. So far his talented subject the lovely Lisa Rose has patiently laid there on the table and responded to prompted chuckles from the announcer's comments. Its obvious James Walker VII, CPE wants to point out that he alone possesses the most expensive foreign made electrolysis equipment that money can buy. He never gives credit to the fact that electrolysis is a 100% American invention and that our USA manufacturers make the best electrolysis equipment that foreign companies have copied and flooded the market with cheap computerized imitations that James Walker VII, CPE exclusively uses in his office. For the record I am proud to be an American and I use the best American made Computerized Epilator the R.A. Fischer CBX Programmable epilator Series Four Model.
Another funny item about James is his use unique obsession with foreign made products for instance now I have my “Gold electrolysis needle from France and I will spear the hair with it.” James how many of your patients ran out of your office after you say you're going to spear their hair? James you do not spear the hair you gently insert the probe down the follicle shaft and apply the correct current and then remove the hair. I also found James attitude toward women is quite condescending and he used his subject Lisa Rose as a mere prop. Another item that I found particularly offensive is that James referred to “Transgendered People” as a “Transsexual Job” and not once did he ascertain to them as women or in the feminine noun or adjective.
Lisa Rose
On Hairtell.com James commented about his model Lisa Rose on this video and said, “Good G-d, the female host of the show was extremely anxious that I was going to perform a sneak treatment on her that she appeared ready to blast off the treatment table like a "Cruise Missile". Well James most women would be afraid once they learned that their electrologist had no electrolysis education, no license and accredited training to speak of. Furthermore James went on to say, she was overly concerned with the concept that anyone might think that she actually needs James electrolysis services. Furthermore she made James promise that we would make it known that she was not a patient, and did not have an unwanted hair problem on her face. James you need to be sensitive to a woman's need of privacy and no woman would publicly say she has an unwanted hair problem. James after the way you acted telling her that you had worms eye view of her face using your "Gynecologists Lamp" would have any woman running and the fact she endured your interview amazed me. Lastly James went on to say,” Had I had my way, we would never have used her and it was not my production, and squabbling with her was not my specialty. James how come you mistreat your friends that made this wonderful video at no charge for you?
James complained on Hairtell.com where said I wanted to just use the customer we did treatments on, but the boss insisted that we have his model in the production. James said, we did a film, but they never put one the aired piece, even though it was teased as an upcoming feature in uncut footage, they did not bother to edit the content of what they posted on the web. James remarked they just did a Leno/Letterman deal and said sorry but we have run out of time, and would you call me back again sometime in the near future? Of course all this happened in the month of June in the year 2002 and James who is still waiting has not received a call from them. Of course it's apparent they gave James Walker CPE VII the “Old Hollywood Heave Ho” which translates into, “Don't Call US We'll call you”. Well it amazing that James Walker VII CPE is on the same track as his Mistress Andrea James Hollywood's most famous unknown movie star and producer.
In finality James you would have to say that, “That Mr. Demille is not ready for James close up.” No doubt when James finds this critique he will remove his podcast because hopefully James Walker VII, CPE will eventually realize that his first starring role in this "Macabre Satire" without one doubt is everything that an electrologist should not be.
Well the show is over and it's to time Siskel and Ebert this unique production and I would recommend that James Walker VII CPE attend acting school because he is no leading man in this production. James sounds like he use to be Japanese used car salesman, but would you buy a used car from James Walker, VII CPE? I don't think so; however with the supposed cost of his foreign owned electrolysis equipment were he inflated the actual cost to impress consumers gives one food for thought. In conclusion how does one purchase electrolysis equipment that you might think is the best, but what good is all that expensive electrolysis equipment if all you spent on your education to learn electrolysis is $225.00 dollars to take a 120-hour fourth grade course to become a non-licensed Certified Professional Electrologist?
So let's give James one thumb down for his obvious lack of not having an accredited electrolysis education coupled with his absence of professional ethics. On the other hand let's give James a second thumb down for his “Macabre Satire” production which proves beyond a shadow of one doubt why all electrologists should be educated, trained, tested and licensed and registered as electrologists. James Walker VII CPE’S obvious ignorance and lack of education harms the “Electrolysis Industry’s’’ professional reputation where the consumer assumes or thinks that an electrologists education is an unacceptable 120-Hour Certified Professional Electrologist course. As Hairtell.com’s moderator James Walker VII CPE openly discourages the education, training, testing and licensing and registration of all electrologists in addition to openly slandering licensed and registered electrologists on Hairtell.com. By doing this James Walker VII CPE clearly demonstrates the epitome of “Quackery” and how an electrologist should not act or behave.
So remember when your looking for an electrologist always make sure the first diploma on the wall has come from a "Nationally Accredited Electrolysis school" with a state seal bearing the date of graduation and hours attended. The second diploma is from the state where the electrologist successfully passed their dual state board examination and is where the electrologists is presently licensed and registered. If the electrologist tells you there not required to be licensed in their state and their total education is a "120-Hour Certified Professional Electrologist Course" it's time to keep on looking because there always a few of us licensed and registered electrologists in states with no licensing.
Recently on Hairtell.com Mr. James Walker VII CPE recently made a vague comment that with his family obligations he did not have time to attend electrolysis school. Mr. Walker you know thats allot of hooey and a blatant excuse for laziness I know many electrologists that are married, have families and allot of single mothers work and go to school full-time to earn their state license and registration as an electrologist. Mr. Walker, whats makes you think that you are entitled to skip electrolysis school and you do not have to earn your state license and registration as an electrologist like others? One last question James what is with your title James Walker VII? James, people use I, II and III and beyond that lineage numeration is reserved for royalty in the history books however it's obvious you use it as an "Ego Booster" in a vain attempt to impress people with your name rather than the lack of substance of your character and your oblivious lack of an electrolysis education has no merit.
Therefor James you do not have a valid reason to substantiate your claim of being a Certified Professional Electrologist when you could attend an accedited electrolysis school part-time to become a licensed and registered electrologist like every one else. James by going to school and earning your own licensed credentials you would not have to ask or coerce the one and only licensed electrologist on Hairtell.com's forum to speak in your behalf which endorses your electrolysis illiteracy. Lastly James its most obvious that you do not endorse requisite electrolysis licensing and registration of electrologists and you do your best to make sure that it's discussion is not allowed on Hairtell.com were you personally censor all comments concerning it. Your obvious abuse and censorship of the" Free Press" discredits "Hairtell.com as a Forum" along with your manufacture of lies to coerce so-called members to falsely slander and degrade state licensed and registered electrologists across America just so you can hurt them. Your continued refusal to become an educated, trained licensed and registered electrologist does not empower you with the right to claim membership of or in the "Electrolysis Profession" until you actually earn your legitimate state license and registration as an electrologist like every one else.
James your censorship of Hairtell.com's forum makes it obvious that your a "Petty Dictator" and not a moderator of the forum with free speech and if any one brings harm to the electrolysis professions reputation, it's you!

New Update For James Walker VII CPE
Elections at the defunct (out of business) International Guild of Professional Electrologists
Well its election year and it's election time and James Walker VII CPE, latest claim to fame was that he came within eleven votes of winning the Presidency of the defunct International Guild of Professional Electrologists who in their last 8 months of operation had a membership of 15 or 20 non-licensed electrologists. Boy that must have been a close election for James and one wonders whose giving James political advice because he came in second or did he say the votes were tied at eleven? Or is this just another James Walker VII, CPE fantasy ploy or does he actually believe his own delusions? For all consumers out there The International Guild of Professional Electrologist was strictly a "Diploma Mill" and as soon as your check cleared you received your diploma as member and there was no electrolysis educational required to be a member. In essence International Guild of Professional Electrologists was just another piece of paper to hang on the wall to impress clients. Because the International Guild of Professional Electrologists went out of business quite a few uneducated non-licensed electrologists now claim to be a member because they know its impossible to dispute. Mnay former members of the International Guild of Professional Electrologists scan and make copies that they sell it and only takes a little white-out and you have a blank diploma to fill in the name and year. However my online publications The Five Star Electrologist© and The Boston Electrolysis Journal© will soon publish a phony list of quacks credtnials so the consumer can check it out.
